My stay at Logis Hotel Beaudon was disappointing. The decor in the room was old, and the furnishings felt quite tired, detracting from the aesthetic appeal. the absence of air conditioning made sleeping uncomfortable during the warm evenings. I found the bathroom lacking in basic toiletries, which I felt should be standard in any hotel.

We had a braw time! The view from our room of the lake and castle was pure magic. The staff were ever so friendly, going above and beyond for us. Only downside was the old stairs – not great for the weary. Still, I'll be back for sure!

The Beaudon boasts a fantastic location opposite the lake and the stunning Château de Pierrefonds. The friendly front of house team, including Marjorie and Juliette, ensures that every meal is delightful, from the varied breakfast spread with excellent cheeses and pastries to the tasty dinner options sourced locally. The room views of both the lake and castle add a charming touch to the stay.

I found the room exceptionally clean, with a spacious and comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The room was a decent size for 4 of us, with 2 comfy double beds that did the job. Views of the castle and lake were stunning and made our stay feel special. It felt clean overall. Just a heads up, it got a bit noisy early mornings from outside, so keep the windows shut if you're a light sleeper.

This was a top selection for a swift stopover in Pierrefonds with good price value. The team went out of their way to find us a taxi when we needed to get to Paris without a car. Make sure to enjoy the breakfast spread, it's well worth it.
